We the family and dear friends of Fricky, age 92, are much saddened to announce his passing which occurred at his home earlier this week. 
He was a son of the late Frank and Mary (McKinnon) MacDonald.
The story of Fricky cannot be fairly told here; still, we share with you many friends and acquaintances these few lines. Fricky was a career teacher spanning more than 40 years; 25 years of which was at Sydney Academy, where he taught chemistry and was head of the Science Department. His quick wit and great sense of humour was deeply appreciated; and, his well of generosity was felt by scores of people through his lifetime. Fricky as his friends new him, was a consummate golfer and lifetime honorary member at Lingan golf club.
Francis is survived by his twin sister, Catherine Anne LaPrairie; and by many nieces, nephews and their families.
Besides his parents, Fricky was predeceased by brothers, Peter and Mike. 

As per his wishes there was no service and the internment was private, however there will be a memorial service, details of which are on the memorial service page.
